Message I am thinking of swapping a TT motor into a NA 2+2 auto 300zx. The auto transmission with the vehicle is shot but luckily we got a TT auto tranny laying around. Once everything is installed I wonder if I can swap the front propeller shaft of the TT auto with the rear propeller shaft of the NA 2+2 auto 300zx?

While I ask you guys that question I think this is a good opportunity to maybe compile a list of what has confirmed to work.

Keep in mind there are several flavors of Z all with different drive-shaft configurations:

2+0 NA manual
2+0 NA auto
2+2 NA manual (JDM)
2+2 NA auto (JDM)
2+0 TT manual
2+0 TT auto
2+2 TT manual (JDM)
2+2 TT auto (JDM)

The stock Z drive shaft is a 2 piece unit made up of 2 propeller shafts.

My contribution:
I once mated a TT auto transmission with a NA engine in a NA 2+0 body. I can confirm that I took the front propeller shaft from the TT 2+0 auto drive-shaft with the rear propeller shaft of the NA 2+0 auto and it worked 100% fine.
